It was the week that only an Idiot would believe. It was the week when Mike Lupica sat field side with Bob Ryan on ESPN and the Whiny Lip seemed to know it was all about to change. He still whined, but the whine seemed tempered. And then, as if an added blessing had been thrown in with the Nomar deal, it was the week that silenced The Lip, and for that we should be most grateful.
