SHERIFF SULLY RESPONDED:
Not a lot of interest about Theo in Texas. It’s football season and well, it’s Texas and it’s football season.
I like Mazz., too, but I really don’t think he’s 40 yet. Maybe like 36.
I don’t listen to anything Schilling says. I love him for last season and respect his fund-raising, but I started tuning him out last May. As in May 2004. The guy just never shuts up, I mean, how can anyone have an opinion on everything.
This press conference is what I expected. Theo is doing a solid job, more or less just begging for some privacy after this thing is over. Oh, and it’s obvious Theo isn’t burned out. He’s still speaking in that same monitone voice.
Speaking of press conferences, I’ve always one of the more underrated stories in New England sports history was Dan Duquette’s insane/irrational press conference after he was fired. Honestly, re-run that baby on a local TV station. Maybe no one listened.
Oh, where’s Shaughnessy. Shouldn’t he have been there?
