While we’re still shocked - or more accurately dumbfounded - by the Boston Globe’s continued non-comment and ignoring of what appear to be further evidence of Ron Borges plagiaristic ways, we’re going to have to stop harping on it for the moment.

That doesn’t mean we believe any less in the belief that Borges needs to be indefinitely suspended and a thorough third-party investigation needs to take place, but if the Globe isn’t going to care about its waning public perception, we’re not going to fret over it either. At least not until, and if, more examples are brought forth. It’s their credibility that’s suffering, not ours.

In the meantime, we wanted to remind you that we’re knee deep in college hoops coverage over at the rapidly emerging “Hang Time” blog at CSTV.com. These past four days we’ve been in Atlanta for the SEC Tournament where we saw Florida absolutley roll through its three day re-coronation and on Wednesday we’ll be shuffling off to Buffalo for the first and second rounds for more live-blogging and mischief. After that, it’s off to lovely East Rutherford for the Regional and then back to Atlanta for the Final Four.

I’m not the only one blogging at the “Hang Time” space, so if you’re sick of my rantings, there’s always other choices for you. This past weekend’s undertaking was nothing short of revolutionary as ALL of the major tournaments had CSTV live-bloggers courtside for all the thrills and spills of the Tourneys.

Even if you’re not a college hoops fan, it’s worth checking out to see a bit of what the future of blogging holds.

Unless there’s further breaking news, we’ll be back with you in earnest in early April.

If you really need your Shots fill, check out CN8’s 11 p.m. “Out of Bounds” this Tuesday night and other scattered times throughout the next few weeks.

. . . One other CN8 and college hoops note: Northeastern coach Bill Coen will be a guest on the 7 p.m. “OOB” this coming Thursday, March 15 at 7 p.m. He will be live via satellite from CN8’s Brookline, Mass. studio for the Philadelphia-originating show.
