JD Drew-bashing has ensued, signifying the official return of the duo and cuing Shots to crawl back under the covers. It seems like old times already and within a few days the entire episode will be forgotten by most - except D&C’s accountants and legal representatives.

“Jacoby Ellsbury is better, that’s not an opinion. It’s a fact,” said Callahan.

. . . The number “139″ is being thrown around with great frequency and now Callahan is discussing the final Soprano’s episode. THAT’s how long he’s been gone. One hundred and thirty nine days.

. . . “When do we get something we can disagree on?” asked Dennis at 6:30, to which Dennis brought up the Patriots which he said, “We won’t disagree on them” and then admitted that after one snapshot of Randy Moss, he was wrong about his assessment of the wideout.

. . . Callahan is jokingly claiming that there was no throat surgery and that it was all just a negotiating ploy. His voice, which sounds slightly flemmy phlegmy at times, confirms the joke.

. . . Hope Tom Brady has some comments for the 139 Day Man and his partner during his 9 a.m. hour appearance - we’d like to think he’s comfortable taking a shot or two at the duo.

. . . If advertisers were angry while the duo was separated, they’re going to be pissed now that they’re back and they won’t stop talking long enough (even during the flash) to allow for ad time. It’s starting to sound like public radio!

. . . Another comment from Gustin’s bit: “It’s the Rich and Richer show.”

. . . You’re all on your own again as this signifies our exit from the D&C reunion show coverage. Dennis said it best before the bottom-of-the-hour flash: “Dennis and Callahan are back together again, you’re stuck with us for another five years.”

We wouldn’t have it any other way.
