Outrage is a big emotion. It should be reserved for big issues. Taping the other team’s signals from an area where you aren’t allowed is not a big deal. Those coaches are on every single full field tape and can be zeroed in on if one so desires.

Now, grandstanding on behalf of your client Comcast, who is having problems negotiating with the NFL, during the Super Bowl about a subject where someone broke the rules not the law, is outrageous. Then to threaten that you will, single handedly ruin a billion dollar business by taking away their exemption for someone who broke the rules, not the law, is outrageous.

You are outraged at Senator Spectre when you probably should be outraged that the Patriots cheated. But the liberal media and you don’t seem to think there is anything wrong with cheating. I’ll give you that the Patriots are good, but maybe not that good. You know, who gives a damn if you are outraged.

I saw two of them and I didn’t feel Berman came off badly at all.
He looked like he had legitimate complaints — people moving while he’s on the
air and the teleprompter not working.
And he didn’t just explode into an explitive-laced tirade a la Casey Kasem and
his dog dedication.
His attitiude was just to get everyone to smarten up and get the equipment
working.

The Berman videos just remind me that he is an ordinary guy. Look, he is one of the original ESPN guys and if anyone can piss and moan about what is going on, it’s him. So he curses, he digs chicks…whatever. These videos make him more likable as far as I’m concerned. Anyone offended by it needs to get down off the cross and judge themself.
