and yes, I’m with you Soog…..let’s face it, most of these people BITCH for the sake of BITCHING…..I have the MLB Package and listen to announcers from all over the country, Remy and Orsillo is about as good as it gets…..most of the other markets have announcers that OUT and OUT SUCK….(other than the REAL greats such as Vin Scully, Harry Calas etc. etc.)

I gotta disagree with Shots CRegan,

I rarely miss a Sox game. I appreciate the silliness that goes on with Jerry and Don. For the life of me, I can’t figure out why anyone can’t appreciate anything other than calling the game. Listen to radio if that’s what you need. We are watching the game, we know what is going on. Nothing wrong with entertainment beyond the game. For Christ’s Sake. Lighten up.

I’m a new reader to your column, just stumbled across it and bookmarked it for future reading. Thanks for the note about Remy. I am quite sick of his and Don’s hijacking the game content to hone their comedic skills. I am to the point where I’d rather watch with the sound off or tune in to Joe Castig and Dave O’Brien and forego the television broadcast.
