What was up with Felger and his milfs, gilfs talk last week? I know he's pretty weak outside of football, but was that the best he could do? At least his addition kept Mustard and Johnson off during the week this summer. I hope that he, Zolak, and Haggerty cut deeply into Larry Johnson's Big Show time.

I don't see Felger being any leverage over Ordway. He fell on his face at 1510 and Ordway is the big star at WEEI. I think they could've let Dennis and Callahan walk and replaced them quite easily. If they didn't let them go, they'll never let Ordway go.

And just after I post that I get an email from a friend saying Bardford's column does have its own feed. The other columns still don't appear to have any, nor does there seem to be one for all the columns in aggregate.

Rather than having to see Jon & Gerry's smiling faces across the top of WEEI's page every time I wanted to read Bradford's stuff, I figured I'd use an RSS feed. The problem is that only the blogs have a feed right now, the columns don't. I emailed Bradford and asked if/when this might change and he replied "Soon, hopefully."

It's not a big deal overall, but it is keeping me from reading the columns because I've decided not to visit the site directly anymore.

Entercom is not going to fall for any trumped up sports radio alternative in the current environment. Glen will be lucky to be working for beer money with his next contract.

Let's see.... Ordway spent a few years ridiculing "dot-nerd-dot-net" "in Mom's basement"-types like me, and now I'm supposed to give them traffic and help them make money on their web site? Then, they add Felger, who turned into a huge disappointment on ESPN radio. And Borges on top of it? Thanks, but no thanks. I"m already full of sports media - I don't need a web site with people I don't like featured.

The fact that Entercom may be willing to play blink-blink with Ordway is the BEST news I have read in this blog in ages. Not only would Felger being plugged into pm drive make it better radio, but it would mean the end of Pete Shepturd's obnoxious career. Hey, Shepturd, maybe Kraft would let you walk his dogs after you hit the bricks.

Having said that, a quartet of other WEEI folks who would be better served doing something else in their spare time:

-- Dale Arnold: Hey, Maine man, just because you speak in italics doesn't mean what you are saying is interesting. And it's just plain creepy when you start using double entendrest, and you do it A LOT

-- Larry Johnson: "How's that working out for you?" That line was hackneyed four years ago. Absolutely unlistenable, particularly when he's throwing undeserved verbal bouquets. Sick of him.

-- Steve Buckley: Mr. Marriott Points. Worst. Columnist. Ever. And even less interesting on radio. Must have acquired his ego at Filene's Basement.

-- Butch Sterns: Do us all a favor...move to Jersey and write Springsteen's memoirs. You'll never find a publisher, but that's OK.

-- Steve DeOssie: Quintessential bully. Yeah, you played in the NFL. We get it.
