This is great. Since the Herald increased the price to 75 cents I was hardly getting the paper for my subway ride into Boston. Now I will start getting it more.

Have to love the Herald. Everyone leaves them for dead with the new-and-improved WEEI.com (but is it really?) and beefed-up Globe, and what do they do? They grab the best, most-respected baseball writer in New England on the heels of locking up Ron Borges. I wasn't high on the latter, but it's a lot easier to swallow with McAdam aboard. Borges always seems to have an ax to grind, but at least he stirs it up. I find the Globe more and more -- well, I guess boring is the best word to describe it. Anyway, great move by the Herald. Right back on the sports radar in Boston sports media.
