Dumb. A sports media war makes money for no one. It’s sort of like in wrestling when WCW did all that Vince Russo crap to play to “smarks” on the internet. The vast majority of people don’t give a hoot. Fans want hosts and writers who talk about their favorite teams—not each other. And especially not with the dawn of baseball season around the corner.

great stuff…hit it all right on target…in the case of Globe, afraid it is gonna be too little, too late…but then again, WEEI.com is really in the hands of the radio sales weasels…and if no $$ is shown on the web side of the ledger…then bad/rash decisions will start raining down and it will be hell on the web side. Bottom line….Tommy driving the truck that listens 24/7 to WEEI…and he makes up a majority of their audience…will never do the dot com thing to get the latest Boston sports news…and imagine if the Sox were below .500 by July?
